About Dump Guides

Dump Guides is a small, independent guide to where you can legally get rid of household trash, bulky items, tires and yard waste, starting with Arizona. Today it covers 11 landfills and transfer stations across 3 guides (Phoenix transfer stations and dump, Tucson landfill and transfer stations, Valley bulk trash and free dump loads), a statewide comparison table and a map. It is written and maintained by the Dump Guides Team.

How we verify

  • We only list a facility, material, hour or fee when the city, county, ADEQ or the operator's own page publishes it.
  • We never guess prices or hours. If an operator doesn't publish a fee, we write "not posted" and give the phone number.
  • Every page shows a last-checked date and links its sources, and every listing names the page its facts came from.
  • When two official pages disagree (for example an old county flyer and a newer operator page), we say so on the listing.
  • Pins marked "approximate" were placed from the operator's directions or a street point.

What the access labels mean

Who is allowed to dump matters as much as where. Each listing carries one label: open to the public, public with a free load for residents, residential loads only, or city residents only.

What we don't do

We don't take paid placements, and there are no affiliate links on the site today. We don't copy listings from other directories; those are leads we check, not sources we publish. We don't run ads or analytics trackers.

Sister site

Emptying RV holding tanks is a different job from hauling trash. Our sister site, RV Dump Guide, covers RV dump stations, potable water and propane in Arizona with the same verification rules.

Corrections are always welcome: contact us with the facility, what changed and when you saw it.
