Good to know in Arizona
- 01
Free loads need paperwork. Cities that offer a free monthly load ask for a current utility bill and a matching photo ID.
- 02
Tires stay out of landfills under state law, per the City of Phoenix. Most cities take a few resident tires a year separately.
- 03
Hazardous waste has its own route. Paint, oil, batteries and pool chemicals are refused at most transfer stations and in bulk piles.
Method
Hours and fees from the operator, not from a forum
We only list a facility, material, hour or fee when the city, county or operator publishes it. If a fee isn't posted, we say "not posted" and give you the phone number. Traveling by RV? Tank dumping is a different job, covered by our sister site, RV Dump Guide.
